Nail fungus help…………?

I would appreciate any advice……..have the early signs of a toe nail fungus infection starting on my left toe in the upper left side corner. Can someone please advice me on what actually helped them. I heard so many remedies of hydrogen peroxide, vicks, vinegar, epsom salt that I am confused. Also pls explain how to use the recommended product, times to be applied per day etc, and how to tell if it is improving.

Nail fungus is a condition that afflicts people on the nails that cover their toes and fingers. These are exactly the type of conditions that fungus causing the infection thrives in. Indeed, these are also the types of conditions that other types of disease causing micro-organisms thrive in, especially where the moisture and warmth (also called humidity) happens to exists alongside poor hygienic conditions.
The key to avoiding this cause of nail fungus infection is of course avoiding continuous exposure of your fingers and toes to moisture and humidity. If those body parts must be exposed to such moist and warm conditions, then by all means, try to take some mitigating measures.
2) The second major cause of nail fungus is compromised immunity. The fungus that causes this infection is a type of fungus that a strong immunity should be able to ward off quite easily. Most of the people who suffer from nail fungus tend to be people whose immunity is either compromised, or in the process of being compromised.
The thing to do about the second cause of nail fungus would be to take measures – like proper nutrition (with emphasis on foods that are known to strengthen immunity) – to keep your immunity strong. By so doing, of course, you will not only be protecting yourself from nail fungus, but also from a host of other diseases (and indeed, from all micro-organism-caused diseases).
3) The third major cause of nail fungus, specifically the type of it that afflicts toe nails (which is by the most common type of it) is wearing poorly ventilated shoes. These are shoes that have no ‘breathing’ space for the feet -and no inlet for fresh air from outside to get into them. Wearing them causes the feet to perspire heavily, while the lack of air from outside means that temperatures inside them rise significantly. This creates the moist (due to perspiration) and warm (due to lack of air from outside) conditions discussed earlier as being the ideal conditions that nail fungus thrives in.
The thing to do about this cause of nail fungus infection would of course be to make ‘ventilation’ an important consideration when shopping for shoes, and ensure that you only buy and wear well ventilated shoes.

Have considered asking my doctor to prescribe Lamisil for a nail fungal infection. Why is it so darn expensive??? Any generic alternatives out there?? Would you kill your own liver or kidneys just to have beautiful nails?
